442oons is an English Animation channel that makes videos about recent events and stories in football. The channel is run by Dean Stobbart, who is also helped by Mike Myler, Lauren Bagstaff and Karl Hargreaves.

Before popularity[]
442oons started as a one-person team in late 2013 featuring Dean Stobbart. His content back then only featured Premier League-related videos. Due to time and experience, Dean only uploaded every 1-2 weeks. The cast of 442oons also was limited, featuring less than 50 characters (a lot less compared to today).
Many of 442oons iconic series and running gags started in its early days. Such as the Juan Mata song, Chewy Suarez's biting and Bland Aid.
2014 World Cup[]
442oons first start of success was during the 2014 World Cup, hosted in Brazil. These videos were not Premier League related, which makes the videos less repetitive and due to it, the success started.
Some of the videos were kind of serious while others were more silly.
