The badge has the red lion holding a plate with a chicken parmo, a common recipe in the town. In the background of the shield are several factories with smog coming out of them. This is a reference to Middlesbrough’s petrochemical industry.
Name[]
The name Brough references a more "proper" spelling of Boro, the club's nickname.

2016–17[]
Brough first appeared in the Premier League 2016/17 where Aitor Karanka said that he would feed chicken parmo to the players since Claudio Ranieri fed pizza to his players in the Premier League 2015/16, where they won the Premier League.
In that season Brough had some interesting results, such as tying 1-1 to former winners Moneychester Sheiky due to a Marten de Roon goal which was assisted by George Friend. They ended up relegated like Hull Tigers and rivals Sunlessland AFC as they were 19th place.
