Japan's flag in the same as the real Japanese flag except that the 442oons version has a black outline, and a line before it, referencing the various claims that in the 2022 World Cup, Japan beat Espaniel 2-1, with a late winner by Ao Tanaka with an assist from Kaoru Mitoma, and Germany were knocked out because of it. Supposedly the ball made it past the line before Mitoma crossed it in, but VAR decided otherwise, and Germany were knocked out of the tournament in the group stages (by goal differential), for the second time in a row.

Japan didn't appear during the FIFAIFOFUM World Cup 2014 Brazil even though they qualified for the tournament. They finally made their first appearance in FIFARCE World Cup 2018 Rusputin videos. They lost to Brillgium 3-2 after a 2-goal lead. As seen in the video JAPAN BEAT GERMANY! The Cartoon (1-2 World Cup 2022 Parody Goals Highlights Doan Asano), Japan beat OMGermany in a comeback and later beat Espaniel with the same goal number.
