Appearance[]
Badge[]
The 442oons badge of Juventus has changed a few times over the years, with the most notable change being the temporary rebranding as Ronventus, due to the club signing Cristiano Arrogantaldo. Once he left, the badge once again became the image of The Old lady.
Name[]
In 442oons, Juventus is called Old Lady, in reference to the club's nickname of La Vecchia Signora (translated literally to The Old Lady). The "old" part of the nickname is a pun on Juventus which means "youth" in Latin. It was derived from the age of the Juventus star players towards the middle of the 1930s. The "lady" part of the nickname is how fans of the club affectionately referred to it before the 1930s. The club is also nicknamed la Fidanzata d'Italia (lit. 'the Girlfriend of Italy'), because over the years it has received a high level of support from Southern Italian immigrant workers (particularly from Naples and Palermo), who arrived in Turin to work for FIAT since the 1930s.
History[]
Juventus is one of the biggest clubs in Serie A, being the club with by far the most honors won (21 more than second place AC Zlatan). Despite this outstanding success, Juventus has had a rocky past filled with controversy, scandals, and even relegation.
