Etymology[]
His forename Ronald is a portmanteau which composes of "advice" or "decision" and "ruler". The toponymic surname Araujo refers to a "sacred area".
His parody forename is a reference to Steve McDonalds' mascot Ronald McDonald, while his parody surname is a reference to "arriba", an expression of excitement used in Castilian.
Appearance[]
Arriba debuts with large eyebrows and small eyes. He had tanned skin with black hair in a short afro matching his goatee and mustache, and was seen wearing the 2020/21 Barcelona kit. In his first design change, Arriba's hair was bleached.
In early 2024, Arriba's hair became grey, and his eyebrows were shrunk while his eyes were enlarged. Arriba's design from mid-2025 onwards reverts his hair to black.
