The original badge has Sean Bean's head being chopped off with a blade, the letters R.I.P. in the bottom because of relegation, and the flower appears to be missing. In 2022, the badge was made less violent as Bean's head was replaced with two crossed blades.

The name Sean Bean United references actor Sean Bean, who is a Sheffield United fan.

2019–20[]
Sean Bean United first appeared in the 2019–20 Premier League song. As seen in the classic badge, Sean Bean chopped his head off when saying, "Brace yourselves, relegation is coming!". They finished 9th place, behind Arsenal Fan TV FC and defeating the likes of Spurssssshhhhh and West Hammers and tying with the likes of Arsenal Fan TV FC. This surprised many people and pundits, as Sheffield United were close to European league spots and also this success was from a newly promoted club.
