Name[]
The name references the Portuguese manager Vítor Pereira, and the many Portuguese players in the club's squad.

2018–19[]
After having been promoted from the 2017–18 EFL Champion-ship, Wolverhampton Wanderers first appeared in the Premier Inn League 2018/19 song, where Nuno Espírito Santo announced the club's rebrand to "Wolves Clube de Portugal". Neil Warnock got mad and said his catchphrase, "F**k off!".
